The Dutch Environmental Balance 2009 (summary): describes the Dutch state of the environment in 2007. It offers an evaluation of policy influences on the environment, including the barriers, opportunities and dilemmas involved.

Greenhouse gas emissions and monitoring: Under the UN Convention on Climate Change and the Kyoto Protocol, the Netherlands has agreed to reduce the emissions of greenhouse gases. To this end a series of policies and measures are implemented. The emissions and reductions have to be monitored in compliance with international standards. This website explains how the monitoring of greenhouse gases is implemented in the Netherlands and gives access to the relevant reports.
